On behalf of the tribe of people called Broadmoor Baptist Church, thank you for visiting our site. Your interest in our story is very encouraging!
Broadmoor Baptist Church is a community of people who are on a journey committed to following Jesus. Our journey started in Errington Elementary School where we began as a Sunday School. Then under the sponsorship of Trinity Baptist Church in Vancouver, the congregation of Broadmoor Baptist Church moved to its present site at 8140 Saunders Rd. We erected our first building in 1960 and finished our new worship centre in May 1991. As we follow Jesus, we place high value on authenticity, creativity, learning together, listening to each other, embracing diversity and creating an environment where people feel safe to explore their spiritual life. As a result we are finding people from all over the world have decided to make Broadmoor their spiritual home. At present we have about 29 or more nations worshipping together. If you choose to worship with us, I trust that you will find our services thoughtful, engaging and meaningful. We hope to create space for you to not only hear about God but also to experience Him for yourself in the community of others. Our services are relaxed and we strive to breathe new life into an old message that we believe is still very relevant to our culture. As we look to the future, my hope as pastor for this congregation is we continue to become a people who strive to thoughtfully participate in God’s mission in our city and in our world. My prayer is that we will be a people who are passionate about our part in making real the beauty of the Kingdom of God in a world that is often torn apart by strife and brokenness.
